But it does work with NMEA over tcp/udp (ie: wifi network). Josh On May 17, 2016 3:37 PM, "Joel Aronson via CnC-List" wrote: > OpenCPN does not work with SignalK and will not for some time. I with as > advised to run an ethernet cable to my laptop. That's what I didn't want > to have to do! >

OpenCPN does not work with SignalK and will not for some time. I with as advised to run an ethernet cable to my laptop. That's what I didn't want to have to do! Joel On Thu, May 12, 2016 at 4:09 PM, Joel Aronson wrote: > Thanks. I'll play with it in my spare time! > > On Thu, May 12, 2016 a

Josh, I'm hoping to (someday) get GPS data to OpenCPN/Expedition and AIS info from my laptop to my plotter. Otherwise, its just another box to me. Joel On Thu, May 12, 2016 at 3:13 PM, Josh Muckley via CnC-List < cnc-list@cnc-list.com> wrote: > I have OpenPlotter running on a Raspberry Pi B+.

I have OpenPlotter running on a Raspberry Pi B+. It includes SignalK. Everything pretty much works the only problem I have is that the SignalK protocol isn't being used by anyone. No apps, no vendors. So you can watch some data on any WiFi device via a web browser AND you don't have to have an e
