When we purchased Persistence in 2014 it had a complete set of B
Speed/Wind/Depth. All were working but the displays were becoming dim and old
and hard to read from any angle other than straight on. I replaced all three
with the Raymarine i50/i60 kit.
What is interesting is that the

Hi Shawn,
Did you buy the boat?
Tip: before hauling the boat, replace the speedo paddlewheel with the plug.
Another tip: keep these two tethered together and only insert the paddlewheel
when you go sailing, and replace the plug when you get back to the dock. That
way, you'll never have to clean

Is the paddle with the magnet still there? It
will show as a little block on one paddle.
If you're lucky with it being there then just
build up the broken paddle with epoxy putty to
the same general profile as the other blades.
Close is good enough for the resolution a
cruising
Speed through the water is used by most instrument packages to calculate
true wind. Without it all you will ever have is apparent wind. Not a
killer but something to consider.
You might be able to find a replacement wheel. Most are just held in by a
pin. $5 part.

no longer available. Is it worth getting a replacement knot meter to get
