Interesting! Do you have a bolt just aft of the mast like the couple of photos
posted? Would there be two keel bolts placed so close to each other? Did C&C
change how they attached the keels in these 35’s?

Yes. The mast is out for the winter on my 35 MkII, and there is one keel bolt
there on the aluminum plate where the mast sits.

Here is an old photo showing a keel bolt about 6-8” from the mast. Is your’s
like this? Is there another bolt under that mast?
I am hoping to try to avoid pulling the mast as that opens a whole can of worms
of things I should/could do while the mast is down.

This is a good question!
Anybody out there know the answer?
If I can I will be there, it’s always work schedule dependent.
Thanks for the info Lee!

BTW, when and where is the C&C Rendezvous in BC this year?
Maybe we will make it back to the C&C RDV in BC this year. . .

Yep,
If I pull the duck tape off the hole in the mast, there’s a big nut down there.
. . I’d have to remove the green flannel Kathleen sewed around the mast and
the insulation, so I guess I‘m not looking, and you’ll just have to take my
word - I think my keel is still under the boat. . .
Or,
I can confirmed that there is a bolt under the mast on the mkIII, but I
don't know about the mkII. My understanding is that the mkII design is
closer to the mkI.

I have a C&C 35 MKII and was wondering if there is a keel bolt under the mast.
I was talking to Dennis and he has a Mk I version and he told me that his does
not have a keel bolt under his mast. Does anybody know the answer to this? I
would rather not have to pull the mast to tighten the bolts.
