I was able to get an oil pressure gauge and install it temporarily on the
3GM30F. I definitely have oil pressure, but it was interesting to see the

Sometimes, if there is a loose connection on the back of the breaker,
the extra resistance can make the breaker heat up. Since most breakers on
a boat are thermal (I think), the extra heat will cause the breaker to trip

I agree with Joe, your oil pressure is good. I would deffenetly mount a gauge
in the cockpit. I have both oil pressure and engine water temp on Rebecca Leah..

Happens, especially when said breaker is used as a switch like we do on our
boats. Circuit breakers (at least on aircraft)were never designed to be used as
a switch.
