Try doing a google search on "Fico" traveller. You may be able to find a picture of what you have. I can't picture what you have from your description, but a lot of C&Cs were equipped with Fico travellers, including mine. Steve Thomas C&C27 MKIII - Original Message - From: Burt Str

Burt, You should have several options. You might consider talking to Guido or Mark at Garhauer Marine. They may be able to make you a new and better car for a reasonable price. I'm assuming there are sheaves on the ends of the car? How much room is between the sheaves? Enough to install a pad

Dan, Conventional wisdom on staysails: You will achieve 0.5 knot increase in speed when you hoist the staysail. Likewise you will achieve a 0.5 INCREASE in speed when you drop it. Hence the name staysail. It should stay in the bag. Dennis C, Sent from my iPhone > On Sep 14, 2014, at 5:26

Ok so, I've just run the engine fir nearly 2 hours to see if I could get it to cut out.  It ran perfectly and now I have fully charged batteries!  Lol. The coil is hot but not too hot to touch.  I can touch it for a few seconds but then it stays to hurt a bit.  My guess is about 180 degrees base

I bought a Lowrance Elite 5 HDI last year, came with a transom mount transducer. I tried using it in-hull and was unable to get a signal anywhere, and my boat has a solid hull - I ended up returning the unit. Not sure which model you are getting, but Lowrance themselves state that it wouldn't

Quick and dirty... "Staysail" is probably a "tallboy". Appropriately tall and skinny set under chute. Need mid deck attachment point. We (in the 70's) could never quite see the point. Raised and lowered it and compared speeds for a given point of sail. For yucks I would set it. Easy up.

Hi Dave There are several areas of hull on the 35-3 that have no core, my speed/depth transducer is located adjacent to the thru-hull fitting for the head discharge and it is solid core there. Looking at the inside of the hull it should be clear where there is core and is no core, as there is a
