Joe – If you heated your pulpit up to the temperatures that parts of the grill
get to, it too would likely stain.
Elevated temperatures in SS lead to Chromium Carbide Precipitation – the chrome
has an affinity for carbon, which then becomes chromium carbide, and that
leaves much less chrome to
Heard some bad vibes about Moorings charter fleet, mostly in the BVIs. You see
any sign of problems in Miami?
My favorite was the Leopard 46, but we had to have three engineers on board to
figure how all the "stuff'" worked. Boat came with three huge reference tomes.

The Privilege 39 I charted easily did 10-11 knots as long as the AWA was 90 or
better.
That is slow for a 46 footer.

Paul, not sure which Isotherm water I installed in Pegasus, 6 gal. I put it
under the stbd double q-berth, allowing a dual 6volt battery bank to fit in the
cubby next to the engine. I have hot water almost instantly in the galley.

The Miami fleet is only eight boats. There were some repairs that were not
done to the standard I would expect, but everything on the boat functioned.
I still don't know where the switch is to the light in the head though.

Hi,
Does anyone have any bad experiences with Isotemp SPA water heaters? I can’t
find any reviews regarding the SPA line of heaters online. I am planning on
installing either the SPA 25 (6.5 gal) or the SPA 30 (8 gal) on a LF38.For
some reason, the price only differs by $9, but my main

I used the PBase butyl tape on the Viking's hatch replacement. Never leaked.
you do have to clean up the oozed tape a couple of times after its been in a
while. One roll goes a long way. I set the hatch, handrails, traveler and
still didn't use up the first roll. DannySouth Coast MA

My Magma grill is very rust stained. I tried a couple stainless cleaners that
were based on an acid solution and they did nothing useful. Besides for being
pissed at stained stainless – I mean my 1973 stainless pulpits are not stained
at all – I was wondering if it was impossible to clean and I
If I put a water heater in Touche' it will most likely be an Isotemp.

Hi, I was doing a search and came across this at mass marine parts if anyone
might be interested. http://www.massmarineparts.com/dodger.aspx Looks good in
the pics. Not sure if it would fit other models than the 29. I have absolutely
no affiliation with Mass Marine parts other than having

Ditto.
Biobor is an algaecide (though it may have other things in it?). Stanadyne is a
lubricant. Have used both for perhaps 10 years.

All,
Last weekend we did a 4 day charter on a Leopard 39 out of Miami. First
time sailing out of Miami, in the Keys, on a charter or a cat!
It was one of the best vacations we ever had, despite a lack of wind much
of the time! Went from Miami to Key Biscayne to Key Largo mostly in the
Bay and
