Anybody know of a way to persuade spider from building webs attached to my wind transducers. If I have to climb the mast, I only want to do it once. Maybe there is a repellent or something to spray up there that won't wash away at the next rain. For awhile it was just the speed transducer and a

Beginning to install a Sirius satellite weather receiver (Lake Superior is full of surprises, more so now that VHF marine weather is dumbed down.. I quote a recent one ."today, possible showers, possible thunderstorms, mostly sunny"). Question is, does the sat receiver's view of the sky care

I might consider one for Touche'. Both my Pensacola slip and my Mandeville slip cause the transom to catch a LOT of sun. Touche's red Awlcraft 2000 is subject to fading. This last wax event, I put 5 coats of AwlCare on the transom before it looked good. Dennis C. Touche' 35-1 #83 Mandeville,

I added it to save the stern from the hot NC sun--whether it helps is questionable!  Of course it is off except when at the dock. BTW, much as I would like Water Phantom to be a 37, or even better a 37/40 kcb, alas she is a 36 XL/kcb. The 37/40 was beyond my reach when I purchased her in 1993.

We were there Sunday. (Along with 80 NYYC boats) didn’t know they’d be there. Tried to anchor for an hour. Dale, my hero put us on a private mooring. Zero wind at bedtime. Woke up to 30 kt gusts. 6 am, Boats moved and one on the rocks. Can’t imagine a worse way to wake up. Two official boats
