I have a 9' Achilles rib wi a 15hp merc 2stroke. But it doesn't seem any to have any more power than the old 8hp mariner of the same vintage. Best part is both engines weigh the same. Garhauer motor crane to store moror on stern rail and spinaker halyard to store dinghy on fordeck.
