I've tried tried "head lube", TefGel, wheel grease, couple other things. Nothing works as well as Superlube. So, primarily, I use Superlube. Pop the top off the Jabsco pump assembly, pull out the plunger, wipe some on the plunger o-ring and the shaft and re-install. In between SuperLube

What are listers using to keep their toilets pumping freely? The manufacturer sells something, but suspect there is a generic cheaper alternative. I've used vegetable oil in the past, but that seems gum up the pump. A friend uses motor oil but I worry about it not being compatible with the
