I re-did my windows using the VHB method this spring.
Removing the old windows with a sharp putty knife and a hammer
was the hardest part.
Rough repair on the damaged areas with 2 part epoxy. In
retrospect I should have painted the blue repair closer to
Rod,
I used Fusion plastic paint that I bought at Canadian Tire to
paint the backside of the of the windows.
I also used the 4991 tape - my understanding was that the thicker
tape increased the thickness of the silicone layer and that allows
it to
My CS 30 is the same - no inset for the windows, just flat cabin
sides. Windows are mounted with the VHB tape which leaves space
for the sealant.
