A brief stop on my way to work at Baseline Res. (Boulder) found that
the water is down producing enticing islands and shore in the south
end. I did not have a lot of variety, but a single juv. Baird's
Sandpiper, and a very large group of Wilson's Snipe, and some

The wren at Norma's Grove is an eastern, Winter Wren. Also, Doug Kibbe found a
Palm Warbler on the northwest side of Crow Valley Campground.

Hi Cobirders
We had another good day at Chico Basin Ranch. While most of the warblers left
we caught a good variety of birds today, 22 species. We banded 61 birds total.
Best bird was a hatch year Magnolia Warbler, rare in fall.

Marcel Gahbauer and I visited Walden Ponds, Boulder County, around lunchtime
today, Wednesday, Sept. 22nd, and we saw and heard a Palm Warbler there. The
bird was at 40.042351 N, 105.187719 W. For those of you who are less
quantitatively inclined, the bird was in the southwest

Hannah and I just found another Boulder County Palm Warbler. This one was at
Greenlee Preserve. It was along the west shore of Waneka Lake, in the cattails,
at 39.994432 N, 105.115814 W. It was in the immediate company of 5
