Hello all,
The Iceland Gull continues at Cherry Creek State Park. I saw it this morning
about 9:30-10, just offshore in the marina area at the southwest corner. I
stopped by again in the afternoon, and around 3:30 to 4 PM, it was just
offshore from the row of picnic tables on the south shore
Nunn CBC 0730 show up at facility on north about one mile east of Hwy

I want to thank nine birders who ventured out to Sterling -- Andy, Ann,
Bill, Bruce, Kathy, Maggie, Peter, Tim and Tom. They all contributed to
make this year's Sterling CBC very productive. Although the results are
preliminary, we tied the high species count of 73. Two birds were new to
100 species were found on today's count by the six observers.
Highlights two Inca Doves, Steller's Jay, Red Crossbill, 5 Winter Wrens, Lesser
Black-backed Gull, Swamp, Harris's, and White-throated Sparrows, Greater Scaup,
White-winged Doves, among others.
