Bonny birding was rewarding today with 35 species seen. Weather was 50's
with a strong wind out of the north. Even with the heavy winds, the birds
were pretty active.
The three best birds today:
- Red Crossbill - single bird seen at Wagon Wheel Campground
- Northern Cardinal - single Male e

My parents called me to tell me they had a LARK SPARROW coming to the feeder
this afternoon. I decided to head down and check it out and it was present

I arrived. It spent most of the time in the Blue Spruce and came in one more

Probably not that rare, but I had very nice looks at an adult bald
eagle on the east side of the Platte River just south of Union Street
(just on the west side of the fire training facility) at about 10:00
a.m. today.
