I saw an apparent female Western Tanager on the Canon City Riverwalk this

Hello all,
For those that are still interested to see them, yesterday about 6 PM,
there were at least two Eastern Phoebes at the bridge over Plum Creek at
Chatfield State Park. I think there may have been more, but two was the highest
count I could confirm.

A young pair of Osprey tried to build a nest in one of the emergency
sirens in Longmont on the west end of the Twin Peaks golf course. The
city built a platform and moved all the nesting material back in
April. The pair got a late start on finishing the nest, compared to
other area Osprey, but
While on way to work on WCR 100 (aka Nunn Road aka LCR64) between the

Every single morning and some afternoons, ALL year long, this Cardinal
attacks the same window on the first floor of their home. This behavior
is going on 3 years now. The Cardinal injures himself, drawing blood when
doing this. They have tried the black silhouette decals, to no avail.
We have a problem at the cabin with crows/ravens. I think it's ravens
because they are so big. During the winter, we saw that pieces of the
screen from two small east facing windows in the loft were being torn. I
thought it was some critters needing screen for their nests. But then some
A Black-crowned Night Heron is visiting Tantra Lake in South Boulder today. The
lake is surrounded by apartments -- including mine -- and this night heron is
not particularly shy of us. The bird is hanging out on the east bank of this
small lake and in the trees overlooking the lake. One of my
