A rusty blackbird visited my backyard feeders mid-day today, 11/26/12.
Location is near Orchard and Colorado Blvd, Centennial.
Of note to me: three spotted towhees were present at various times...2
males, 1 female.

Hey all!
Nothing crazy spectacular to report here. I live very close to
Rolland Moore park between Drake and Prospect off of Shields in town.
The goose influx has been pretty astounding. I don't remember seeing
this many in the area in the past few years. There are upwards of
3000 geese hanging
For those who might be interested : the Dunlin is still present at the big
drainage ditch south of Stapleton Rd in the Falcon/Peyton area , El Paso
County. Still with the Kildeers.

Michael Kiessig and I were able to locate the previously reported

The Golden-crowned Sparrow showed up around 8 this morning shortly

I must say that I had a similar thought, as up here in Evergreen West, Clear

to the feeders. In the past three years I have seen up to 200 in the trees at
one time. When I read the east had a resurgence, I wondered i

In the SWA near the boat ramp there is a Red necked Grebe and Pacific Loon. I

While a finch irruption is taking place in the East, it seems like we are
witnessing a finch "exodus," at least here in the Larimer County foothills. At
this time of year, our most numerous feeder birds are usually Cassin's Finches

I had a brown creeper in my little townhouse yard in west Centennial
yesterday, near Holly St & Arapahoe Rd. It was working one of those
long-needled ornamental pine trees they plant in these communities.
