Bill Kaempfer's Sat. (9/28 - BCAS) field trip to explore some intriguing
areas of Gilpin County has been canceled, due to the Flood Events because of
all the subsequent road closures etc. I hope we'll get to do that next year;
it's an unusual formula.
Instead,
Each day recently I've said it couldn't be any slower than yesterday, and
then I'm proven wrong. If I had an easy way to do it, I'd try to see if
there had ever been a slower last week in September. Today we banded 7
birds (if you ignore the 10 House Sparrows and 1 House Finch that we caught
