A group of several birders are enjoying several note-worthy birds that continue (and even grow in number) on the Boulder Creek Trail on the CU East Campus. The splendid Summer Tanager (adult male) that Peter Gent reported yesterday morning continues in a large flock of Yellow-rumped Warblers.

There were at least 4 adult Glossy Ibis on the south side of Bromley Lane, just east of Picadilly Rd. east of Brighton CO. They were with a flock of 120+ White-faced Ibis. I think this is the most I have seen together in Colorado. I looked for hybrid characteristics but found none. Nick Komar

Today, on the beaver ponds at the south end of Manitou Lake (fee area) I had what I believe was a Mexican Duck (considered a subspecies of Mallard nowadays). It did fly after a few minutes and I got good looks at the speculum bordered in white on both sides. FOS birds this weekend at the lake:
