of Weld CR77 on CR124 (Adams and Bunker #1 or "Archie Bunker Res" as I think it
should be called, due to the less than happy/friendly folks who live in the
house near the portion that extends on the north side of the

I birded partial to full days Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (September 5-7)
in generally familiar locations in northeast Colorado. Wilson's Warblers
and Cassin's Vireos were the featured birds during the holiday weekend and

While hiking the Gem Lake Trail today, my husband and I ran across two
large mixed flocks of little birds - mostly (from the ones I could actually
spot in my binocular) Pygmy Nuthatches, Wilson's Warblers, and Townsend's
Warblers (surprised me too!). I saw a Townsend's early on the trail with

Today was the best day of migration banding so far this season in the riparian
willow corridor at Clear Spring Ranch. Catch-of-the-Day was an adult Northern
Waterthrush.
Also banded were several Wilson’s Warblers (duh), Com Yellowthroat, Gray
Catbirds, Yellow-breasted Chat, and
