My vote goes to the American Woodcock found at the Bobcat Ridge Natural Area in Larimer County last January. Thanks to the Ranger Karl Manderbach, working even on his days off, many, many eager birders were able to view this "Meatloaf on a Stick" with minimal disturbance to the habitat or the bird.

The Pueblo Vaux's Swift has been accepted by the Colorado Birds Records Committee, as Colorado's 1st State Record.  The last Colorado Birds had all the details in the C.B.R.C. Report.  It was the 499th species to be documented in Colorado.  Hopefully there will be more, since no one else was abl
