The second year Zone-tailed Hawk appeared at the usual spot near Higbee
from about 8:30-8:45 this morning. Other people will have to say whether it
was seen after that. It flew in low from the southwest, as though it had

Reservoir, 9 in one compact group. There may have been another one or two

On my usual Sunday shorebird route found a Pectoral Sandpiper in Galeton at
Weld CR 74/61 marsh (a favorite stop now). Total of 52 species (11
shorebird species) seen in various places. Marbled Godwit at Weld CR 122
pond (walk-in). Baird's Sandpiper at Weld CR 124, 122, 74/61 and
