A Northern Cardinal is currently singing in Boulder. He is along the north
side of the Little League fields at 16th and Iris, close to 16th. It may be
the same bird that has been in this area for the past several years.

I have a singing male Chestnut-sided Warbler in my backyard this morning.
Quite the surprise when putting out the trash this morning.
I first heard it sing at about 7:10 and it is still singing in the same
trees as of 8:00am. Recorded audio of the bird, and submitted an eBird

McIntosh Lake in Longmont There is a rookery at nearby Pella Crossing.
Perhaps the herons are fledging?
