This change since last year won’t account for all the change but Lake Mary at
the Arsenal has had 50-75 DCCO’s the last few weeks. I can see at least 3
nests on the big tree in the middle of the lake but I am sure there are more.
I do not recall these numbers from the prior years. Also 3
77 Red-necked Phalaropes flew into Lake Ladora this evening as well!

About 10 minutes ago approximately 100 Sandhill Cranes flew over Stapleton -
generally in a southern direction. I was shoveling the driveway and heard a
strange sound - I thought I had mice or squirrels in the bushes. Then I looked
