I went back to look for the American Dipper in Clear Creek (Adams
Co.)tonight. It was in the same location at the I 76 bridges, east of
Lowell Blvd. This is a spot that I've found them in past years. Mallards
also nearby.

about 5:15pm this afternoon. This spot is approximately 500 yards east
of Lowell Blvd and 55th Place.

An American Dipper was in Clear Creek at Lowell Blvd.(Adams Co.) today at
9:30 am. I watched it looking east from the bridge. Other birds seen were
Gadwall pair, Mallard pair, Hooded Merganser pair, and a f. Belted
Kingfisher.

Peggy Gonder and I found a lone adult American Dipper in Clear Creek, east
of Lowell Blvd (Adams Co) today at about noon. We couldn't see any young in
the nest site. The first Dipper record this season was Nov. 12, 2011. Past
late record was March 1, 2011.

I saw an American Dipper in Clear Creek at Lowell Blvd.(Adams Co.) today at
6:55 pm. Two friends joined me at about 7 pm. We watched the bird until
7:33 pm. Other birds seen were a Belted Kingfisher and Mallard.
I was at Lowell Ponds (Adams Co.) earlier in the afternoon; a Snowy Egret

just downstream from the Lowell Blvd. bridge (Adams Co) at about 5
p.m. High winds and cold. Yesterday, Mar. 2, I saw two dipper in the
same location.

I just found a single American Dipper in Clear Creek at the I-76
bridges, east of Lowell Blvd.(Adams Co). I spent about 30 min.
watching it feed and bathe below the weat bound bridge. Along with
expected diving and dipping behavior, it also did sort of a hobbled
walk along the bridge foo

I found a single American Dipper in Clear Creek downstream from the
bike path bridge (Adams Co). This bridge is about 400 yards east of
Lowell Blvd. and 55th Pl. Other birds seen, starting at Lowell; Am.
Kestrel, Mallard, Gadwall and female Common Goldeneye.

In an attempt to know how regular American Dippers are in Adams Co.. I
watch Clear Creek regularly. I made two Am. Dipper sightings this
aftermoon. The first was about 100 yards east of Lowell Blvd, near
where wires cross the bike path, at 4:15 pm. The second was on the
upstream side of

After many visits, I relocated an American Dipper in Clear Creek at
the I-76 bridges(Adams Co.) east of Lowell Blv'd at 4 p.m. If looking
for this bird, park on either side of Lowell at 55th Pl. and watch the
creek from Lowell downstream 200 to 300 yds to the bike path bridge
over Clear

I-76 bridges, near 55th Pl. and Lowell Blv'd. (Adams Co). This is
downstream 100 yards or so from the earlier posted location. Other

CO.) today at 4:20 p.m. I went down the bike path until I could look
down stream over the check dam. It flew downstream and I was not able

I relocated an American Dipper in Clear Creek, below the little dam
just east of Lowell Blv'd.(Adams Co). This is the favored spot now.
Best views are from the bike path or Lowell bridge. Parking on either
side of Lowell and 55th Pl. I watched off and on from 8 AM to to 8:51

I relocated an American Dipper below the bridge on Lowell Blv'd over
Clear Creek (Adams Co.) at 4:55 pm. The bird was near the bank and
easy to see both in the water and dipping on rocks and shore. This
location is right at Lowell Ponds SWA. My first sightng this winter
was Nov.12, 2011.
