Hi Everyone,
I visited Lagerman Reservoir in Longmont (Boulder Co) today 4/17. I was able
to refind the Whimbrel and the Marbled Godwit fairly quickly. The Pectoral
Sandpiper took a little longer. A Semipalmated Plover, a Lesser Yellowlegs,
multiple Greater Yellowlegs, multiple American
Chris Wood, Matt Clark et al. You better show me better than heard only/seen
flyover. The birds are not there. Help me help you.
Photographic would go a long way.

My husband, a casual but observant birder, insists he saw and heard a
singing Cassin's Vireo at Stalker Pond SWA on April 14th. We were with a
group from Boulder Audubon but unfortunately he was the only one to see it.
I am posting it here in case anyone has plans to visit that area. A check
Tom Whitten and I visited three Kiowa County Reservoirs yesterday, seeing
our first of the year Swainson's Hawk on Hwy 287 and then arriving at
Neenoshe Reservoir at 6:45 a.m. They've thinned and partially cleared the
west-side locust grove there, it doesn't look ideal. The two-track that

10:30 AM in SE corner of lake successfully fishing with 3 other DCCOs.

Just saw this bird east of HQ building in tall sycamore tree at Pueblo City
Park in Pueblo County, 17 April. Chipping some, not singing so far.

Hi COBirders,
I just had a good surprise, a pair of adult Evening Grosbeaks in my yard mist
net, and another two watching closely from a nearby tree. This is only the
third time I've had this species in my yard in NW COS in 30 years, and never in
spring. The two netted ones I banded.
Also,
Still at Hine Lake at Robert A Easton Park this morning.
