I just came across a whimbrel, a marbled godwit and 10 Willets at the end of
the Marina sandspit at Chatfield S P. All flew, willets have returned. Maybe
others will also.

Currently there is Swan East of Corn Fields, viewable from Wadsworth. Photos
seem to indicate Trumpeter. Viewing from road is not recommended. Gardens are

Two Jaegers have been seen in the north portion of Chatfield yesterday evening
and this morning. It appears there is a adult and a juv. of undetermined
species at this time.

My friend Bill E. and I observed a Roadrunner together at same location and we
posted it same day on 4/1. It was unmistakable. At last check it was not
accepted. Please post your sighting. It looks like a first record possibly!
