For mor
COBirders-- For the first time in 2018 a LEGO showed up briefly in the back
yard. He was already molting for the breeding season. Also present were
Eurasian Collared and White-winged doves, American Goldfinches, various
sub-races of Dark-eyed Junco, a pair of Downy Woodpeckers that visit several
COBirders,

my niger (a.k.a. thistle, nyjer) feeder, the male being an adult "green
back" coming into alternate plumage. According to Dave Silverman's Pueblo
Area Migration Calendar, this species does appear--albeit some
COBirders,

plumage on his back is between the "green" and "black" forms.
