With the new build you need to edit build.properties file and comment out the following line like this: #exclude.scratchpad=true. Note, you can also create local.build.properties file and with the line about. This I downloaded today. I retrieved it from xml-cocoon2. I just looked at wincvs and it shows: cvs -z9 update -d -P -r HEAD xml-cocoon2 If I didnt do the download right, what should it have been? This changed a number of weeks ago, in recognition of the fact that Cocoon is now an Apache project in its own right. I've run into the same problem I had run into today. You need to get it from cocoon-2.1, although xml-cocoon2 apparently should mirror it, there are differences. I just done a nice clean cvs -d :pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/home/cvspublic co cocoon-2.1 and everything worked.
