See below. Please contact me if you are interested. We basically need someone
who knows the ins and outs of cataloging, databases, and web applications to
point us in the right direction for this project. Must be onsite. May turn into
something longer-term.
Thanks,

Awesome, thanks so much Jill.
I am on a manifest for Sunday airport-to-hotel. When arriving at the
Asheville airport, how do I find this van? [ This info may be on the
wiki somewhere I'm missing, sorry! ]

2010
Based on this manifest page:
http://wiki.code4lib.org/index.php/Asheville_Airport_to_Hotel_Van_Manifest
there are three openings for Thursday 3:30pm slot (Load G, WCU) so
looks like Gong, Ou, and Atzberger can be added there.

Thanks for all your work on this, folks.
How about adding this to the options:
Airport Bus Schedule:
http://www.ashevillenc.gov/residents/transportation/city_bus/default.aspx?id
=968
Asheville has a bus that goes to the Airport, and their Transit Center isn't
too far from the hotel, about 1.4
I don't know about the others, but given that my flight leaves at 4:30pm, the
3:30pm shuttle is probably cutting it too close. No worries, though-- I'll
figure out another ride.
Thanks for organizing this Jill!

Folks,
We now have a Pre-Pre-Conference subsection on the C4L10 social activities wiki:
http://wiki.code4lib.org/index.php/C4L2010_social_activities#Pre-Pre-Conference
Feel free to sign up if you are so inclined. (Not required, but may
give us a better idea of who's doing what.)
-Mike
Yes, that is a very good (and inexpensive) option. The whole shuttle
thing started because the bus doesn't run on Sunday, but for leaving
on Thursday after the conference it is a great and inexpensive option.
Thanks for mentioning it Yvonne!

Hello All,
The final cost of the 12 Bones BBQ Excursion will be $18 per person. The
cost went up a bit based on market value for the meat. If this is too rich
for you blood, feel free to remove your name from the list and move up the
first person on the waitlist.
Folks,
The official tag for the Code4Lib 2010 conference is c4l10 for
those of you who may use websites such as Flickr, Twitter, etc. This
information will also live in the registration packet.
Happy tagging,

I have the $, but I like a good fight... yer really causing a conflict
for me... ;)
Can I pay in pennies?

That's kind of what I was thinking...and I'm not sure if you want to go early
either...i mean I don't know if the Asheville airport has wireless..so I can't
see a geek library type wanting to spend too much time without their internet
fix...lol

Since I have 24 hours, more or less, in Asheville after the the end of

about 18 mph, but I can go faster or slower, NP.

Bike Shops that Rent Bicycles in Asheville --
http://www.geckotales.com/bike-rentals-asheville.htm
I don't have any first hand experience,
I am renting from this place:
BioWheels-Asheville
81 Coxe Avenue
Downtown Asheville, NC 28801
Toll-free – 888.881.BIKE
Local – 828.236.BIKE
mailto:ashevi...@biowheels.com
This is a little early in the season for most (sane) people, so there
isn't a lot available.
Thanks,
Cary
On Thu, Feb 18,
I haven't given any thought to route. I am renting a road bike, so I
may look for something challenging so that I can get a good ride in a
shorter time. I may hedge by renting a trainer.
Warning, I am a vision in lycra. Shield your eyes.

Something has come up, a family problem, and I can't attend the

possibility of a refund? I've heard there's a waiting list and am
wondering if some change-over could be arranged between me and someone
