Seems like a natural way to fit such a thing into you builder workflow
would be sort of
a fake build script, where instead of providing all the inputs for a build,
the script would
supply the IPA output.

[codenameone-discussions] Re: IOS builds failing: error unexpected statement

2016-10-15 Thread Dave Dyer

There are definitely some things you could do that are not too difficult or
drastic. Segregating
the published APIs from the used APIs for the classes you compile would
result in a huge speedup
with change in the result, and it would be self-checking; if you didn't get
it right then your
compiles would break.

I agree.
Some of the size issues are things we can't realistically resolve for your
app. There are bandwidth limits that are inherent.
Some of the background processing issues are also problematic, AWT was
mostly threadsafe and this led it down a problematic road.

[codenameone-discussions] iOS OTA Install

2016-10-15 Thread mcw

I have 3 iOS devices:
iPad Mini running iOS 9.3.5
iPod Touch 5G running iOS 9.3.5
iPod Touch 6G running 10.0.2

OTA Install always worked on the iPad Mini and iPod 5G. It still works fine
on the iPad Mini but on the iPod 5G I get the CodenameOne page displayed in
the browser and touch Install but nothing happens. I do not get the Do you
want to install dialog and the app is not updated.

The iPod Touch 6G is new, I had to upgrade as my other two devices would
not take iOS 10. It has the exact same problem as the iPod 5G.

If I touch and hold the Install button I get the attached screen. If I
touch Open nothing happens. If I do the same on the iPad the install starts
when I touch Open.

Any ideas? I have checked browser settings on the iPods they seem the same
as the iPad.

[codenameone-discussions] CN1JSON + parse4cn1 together make builds fail

2016-10-15 Thread Carlos Verdier
Hi

Today I updated my cn1 libs and suddenly Android and iOS builds started to
fail.

After a little research, I found out that latest versions of CN1JSON and
parse4cn1 are responsible for the failure. I got back to an earlier version
of CN1JSON and it worked again, so I guess there is some kind of
incompatibility between the two libs.

Here is the error log for Android (pay attention to the firsts lines, where
there are references to parse4cn1)
