[codenameone-discussions] Strange beahivor TextField on IOS

[bitxenio]

Hi 

since last libraries update, the TextField component, don't works fine in 
IOS compilation.
When the component lost the Focus don't hidde the keyboard for example, and 
when show a new form the TextField remain visible.

Have you a solution for this bug?, on android and on the simulator works 
fine.

On the iPhoneX devices the form not fill al the screen, There are Two back 
bands on top and Bottom.


I will try to put a Default-1125h.png on Native/ios, but don't work. We 
need our App fill the X screen.

Hi Shai

we were investigating, and found that the bug is on the inside the Browser 
Component. This component on Iphone X, does not fill the availabe vertical 
space. On this device on te bottom of screen appears a white band.

We try it on the xcode simulator and in real device and the behaviour is 
similar.

On libs versions previous 209 not ocurs. For example on the 204 version 
works fine.

I updated the libs, and compiled the app, the result is similar, on the 
iphone X screen appear two white bands upper and bottom.

Any ideas?

the warning on the Play Store disappears, but the App don't work on devices 
with Android 9 (Pie).

I think what in codenameOne must to make changes on the API 28 compiler.

coordinates manually when close the simulator we lost these coordinates.

you can install a Map Server and use your own installation of the 
OpenStreet Map.

Hi

are there any bug on the location simulation, I can't see the map and can't 
save the location.

On previous versions of codenameone on this screen appeared a map and I 
could save the location, now when I close the simulator I missed the 
position and appears an old position (who was inserted few months ago).
