[jira] [Created] (NETBEANS-563) Unexpected dialog whilst creating maven archetype based project
Ross Lamont created NETBEANS-563: Summary: Unexpected dialog whilst creating maven archetype based project Key: NETBEANS-563 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-563 Project: NetBeans Issue Type: Bug Components: projects - Maven Affects Versions: 9.0 Environment: MacOS 10.13.3 Reporter: Ross Lamont Attachments: Screen Shot 2018-04-02 at 3.00.24 pm.png After creating a maven archetype project I get a "Project Problems" dialog (see attached). However, I notice that shortly after the dialog appears the project seems to add some additional nodes and clears out some errors automatically. When I follow the directions in the dialog, I am unable to find a "Resolve Project Problems" item in the menu. Perhaps the archetype I chose (a random one) was part of the problem. The archetype was com.vaushell:archetype-library:1.0.2 -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v7.6.3#76005) - To unsubscribe, e-mail: commits-unsubscr...@netbeans.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: commits-h...@netbeans.apache.org For further information about the NetBeans mailing lists, visit: https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/NETBEANS/Mailing+lists

[jira] [Updated] (NETBEANS-561) Create a separated dialog for the version control system
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-561?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ] Christian Lenz updated NETBEANS-561: Description: The version control actions are all inside the context menu in a subMenuItem. It would be better to separate them completely from the context menu and create a new dialog only for version control. That makes the UX more handy. You can have a shortcut for it and it opens immediately w/o using the right click and search for git/svn/mercurial or whatever and go the action what you want. It should be similar to the context menu for the repository browser but often I don't use the repo browser. It should be possible to search inside such a dialog while typing.
