[jira] [Created] (NETBEANS-5112) Word wrap in Netbeans doesnt behave correct
Åsmund created NETBEANS-5112: Summary: Word wrap in Netbeans doesnt behave correct Key: NETBEANS-5112 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-5112 Project: NetBeans Issue Type: Bug Components: platform - Output Window Affects Versions: 12.2, 12.0 Environment: Windows 10. jdk 11. Reporter: Åsmund Fix For: 12.3 When pressing word wrap in the output window, it wraps o.k in 12.0 but not in 12.2 (Some of the text is missing at the end). Maybe it has something to do with the font size? I had to roll (zoom) with the mouse to get at smaller font to show the whole line. Another critical issue here which happens only when word wrap is enabled, is that when I want to select and ctrl+c copy to clipboard, the letters selected doesnt fit properly with the mouse click (click down - move - release) will select another range of characters than intended. I also see that when pressing ctrl + c, i miss some of the letters at the clipboard. This is important issue for me to be resolved if I am going to use Netbeans at all. Otherwise I will move to another IDE. -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.3.4#803005) - To unsubscribe, e-mail: commits-unsubscr...@netbeans.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: commits-h...@netbeans.apache.org For further information about the NetBeans mailing lists, visit: https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/NETBEANS/Mailing+lists

It is not working well, so I hope for a remedy, and I can contribute as needed. 1. NB 12.0 LTS does not look in the right place for the JDK and thus, refuses to install. It does not search the folders for a JDK, it seems to expect a particular folder? (I am guessing). 2. NB 12.2 does look in the right place for the JDK and thus, can be installed. 3. NB12.2 can create a new java project, however the /netbeans folder it uses is a mystery. Where is it? Made two projects, one grade and one ant, and both of them are only visible through NB! 4. NB 12.2 can not see old java projects that INDEED IS available in the SSD. So, it can only create a new project. I am sure there are more strange things, but this is the findings so far after one evening's work. Note also that the day before, this same version of NB was installed on Windows, not causing problems (except a wrong font size, which is a minor). was (Author: chi): I bring my experience and conclusions p.t. regarding installing NB on a MacBook Pro 15" with Big Sur.
