I'm currently having difficulties connecting to the Neo Freerunner (running
OM2009) from Ubuntu 9.04.
Initially I did not get the usb0 ethernet connection when plugging in the
booted device, so I used

For some reason the phone started refusing to suspend (vanilla SHR-U
08/08/2009). I tried a few times with the same result. The messages of
suspending is displayed but then the enlightenment windows disappear and the
phone just continues working in active mode. It did not have any issue

Yesterday evening my FR woke up from suspend without doing anything else (no
notification message, incoming call or SMS). I just watched the screen to see
what was happening. After some idle time the it went back to suspend.

There is an Android build for the Freerunner (GTA02), not for the Neo 1973
(GTA01).
I am afraid it is still draining the battery. I can use my FR for about
8~10 hours with Android - current featured release.
It seams like the Dialer will do this, if left unclosed. I'm not sure.

I'm using it with SHR and its working just fine.
Anyway, I had a disappointing and frustrating experience with my FR too
until I discovered QtMoko because all of the distros I tried before
