Have a look at here http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/Qtopia_on_FreeRunner#Unpacking_the_Qtopia_Root_Filesystem_Image Alternatively, if you have an SD reader on your host box, you can do cd /jffs/mountpoint find ./ -xdev -print0 | cpio -pa0V /SD/mountpoint props to Kyle Rankin from Linux Journal July 2008 for the above > > As I understand the filetype jffs2 is an image comparable with a > iso-image of a cd [2]. I have flashed the new kernel/rootfs from qtopia qtopia-4.3.2-gta02-flash-07221045.tgz, but I am still having difficulties. On initiation of a call, state switches to gsmhandset.state, regardless of whether the headset is plugged in before or during the call. If I manually apply alsactl -f gsmheadset.state, I get working sound. In the options popup tab during the call, only Handset and Speakerphone are given, with Handset highlighted. When I start a call with the headset, Headphones is in the Options menu, but as soon as I plug the headset in, it disappears. working on a GTA02v5 ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community

headset with qtopia
Has anyone got the headset that comes with the Freerunner group purchase working with the qtopia.net images? There seems to be a small amount of sound coming out somewhere. Re: 850MHz or 900MHz? AT&T or TMobile?
Ajit Natarajan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> writes: > Which would be the better provider for this area: AT&T or TMobile? > I have been a long time TMobile customer, but not in that area. Their costumer service is superb and their prices are decent. I would not get AT&T. The have an illustrious history of being a monopoly and acting like one. They treat their costumers as prey to be taken advantage of. They will try to lock you in. They will spy on your calls and have no qualms about letting the government do the same. Their costumer service is horrible. In some areas, their coverage may be better, maybe. And, there may be better hardware out there than the Openmoko Freerunner. But that is not the point. Get an Openmoko for the freedom and do not buy service from a company that willingly lets the government spy on your conversations. ___ OpenMoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community

I think making the Index page into a MediaWiki Template is a good idea. An overall navigation element that can be embedded in every page. For good examples see http://gentoo-wiki.com/Index:Template http://gentoo-wiki.com/Gentoo_Linux_Wiki:Header_Templates or the MediaWiki documentation on templates. Or maybe a detailed overall index page and navigational templates for different sections of the wiki.
