Unfortunately, no, because the Qt4 application is still probably expecting to output to an X server, and native QtMoko uses a different display server. Qx and QtMoko v58 in GTA04
I have a GTA04 and want to run an application in Qtmoko with Qx, but I've no mouse pointer at all. Is that normal? I've tested Qx with I see some threads talking about tslib and evdev but I do not see much on the list (http://lists.openmoko.org/pipermail/community/2013-January/068137.html) And as the application have a Qt4 GUI, I'm asking myself if I can run it directly in Qtmoko, but I don't known how! That's right, rootfs is ext2, and in /dev/mmcblk0p2. The mmc load is
fat in u-boot. It boot all right now.
So now I'll boot on NAND, see if it'll freeze or no. I've added the
sleep 2 for microSD and flash (menu_1) !

from a distance I would guess the filesystem on your first partition
(/dev/mmcblk0p1) is vfat and not ext2.
Have a close look at the configure-uboot.sh, check the line with
rootfstype=... from the first entry (after bootcmd=...).
It should read (change it to): rootfstype=vfat
hackable1.org requires a fat partition for the first partition.
Debian on FR in contrast has discontinued booting from fat [1].
As the configure-uboot.sh was written for Debian on FR [2] the script
does not honor vfat boot partitions. See [1] for discussion (follow the
links to the Debian issue tracker and the smartphone-userland ML).

Hello, Sometimes my GTA02 freeze at boot time on the SD card, and I should remove the battery to shutdown the phone. It freeze sometimes on the OpenMoko SPLASH screen, no error message except the, beautiful, splash !
