Power Settings uses ophonekitd, so it disappears when ophonekitd crashed - look at log in /var/log/ophonekitd.log ;) Illume power settings are obsolete and are removed in newer Illume (which SHR will use if only one bug is fixed), and with actual images dimming from Illume is disabled by default.

Maybe this could be helpfully. If I launch ophonekitd from ssh, suspend it with ctrl+z, and then if i wait some seconds and bring it to foreground the ophonekitd doesn't't crash. This is what I have done. Some seconds after the FR boots. I make a ssh conection and test if ophonekitd is still

Another thing I noticed is the phone doesn't want to suspend from the power button menu. It just says it's going to suspend and then does nothing. Same thing for me. Every time I try to suspend with the power button menu, this happens to me. But if I let the system suspends automatically

i haven't any obvious problems with shr, its working great. There are however some things still needed to be done in the way of power management... i.e. allow suspend when powered only by battery is yet to be implemented, although the framework for doing such a thing seems to be in place. On
