u-boot being slower to boot. Just FYI. I was involved in recent MontaVista's boot-in-one-second presentation. That demo did use u-boot (although somewhat changes) in the one-second boot process. Kernel got control there in about 0.3 seconds since poweron. So claim that u-boot is unable to do

Hi, we had quite big troubles with andy-tracking kernels that have CONFIG_ANDROID_LOW_MEMORY_KILLER option enabled. This kernel keeps killing processes and prevents using swap space. This option was added to support android, but it seems that it prevents any other distributions to work correctly
