results the first time I tried, I just
activated ti_calypso_deep_sleep and used that for a while, but it seemed to
drain my battery even faster than without this option - I assume this is another
symptom of bug #1024.

I assume you are there the whole congress? I will not be able to be there before
the third day (December 29), is it possible to get a fix then, or is that too
late?

If it helps in any way, I could provide the serial

Works fine for me, have been using the other keyboard for some time now, and it
works like a charm. Even Ctrl-C is possible, which helps a great deal on the
terminal :)

I have the same problem. There is already a bug report in the bugtracker, see

I think I can confirm this. I never got a fix with the internal antenna before -
EVER!
Now, having removed the microsd card and holding the freerunner out of the
window, AGPSUI got the GPS time
eliver a fix that quickly, let alone provide
instructions on how to do a hardware fix yourself. Keep it up! :)

It's for GPS, you can plug a GPS-antenna with a MMCX connector into it.
HTH,

er of fixes you got. So if it says
10/0/x, that means you can "see" 10 satellites, but don't have a fix (because,
for example, the signal is too weak). So it's quite normal you didn't get a gps
trace if the second number was 0.

I tried that once, too, which resulted in a kernel panic. The funny thing was
that I was in the middle of a phone call, which went on nevertheless until the
other side hung up. Smartphones are interesting devices :D

I have one that works for me(TM), however I don't know if it is okay to post it
via the mailing list. If you're interested, I could send it to you via private

unfortunately, as ssh doesn't seem to be running. The kernel however is still

You shouldn't wallow in self-pity. But it's OK to put your feet in it
