Ah yes, knew I'd forgotten something. The sticker inside says the following:

GSM 850/1800/1900

Date Code: 20080620

PN 56-21146-00

I'm not sure if that makes in an A5 or an A6. It has had no fixes
applied - I've never had any problems with it.

Hi all,

I have a freerunner for sale in Europe. It was buzz fixed in Germany. Perfect
working order. Selling it cos it doesn't work on 3 - for various reasons they
are my preferred provider in the UK and Ireland where I have recently relocated
to after Germany. The phone was in perfect working order in Germany.

Bids welcome to this address.

If nobody wants it within the next week then I guess it's off to the
recyclers. I had no idea interest had waned so dramatically. I'm
normally pretty good with investing in future technologies but I'm
shocked that this one was such a huge waste of $400-500 that now I can
barely even give it away. Of course, my OLPC G1G1 investment hasn't
exactly paid off either. I think I'm going to take it easy on the open

Freerunner for sale

2010-05-22 Thread Tracy Reed
I bought this Freerunner when it was first released as part of the San
Diego group buy back in July 2008. Although I was excited to do so at
the time my ability to work with it and develop for it has been pretty
much non-existent in the intervening two years. It has sat on my shelf
doing nothing pretty much the whole time. I think I carried it on me
two days and flashed/upgraded it twice in the whole time I have had
it.

It is time to let it go. So if anyone wants this like-new condition
Freerunner please make me your best offer + shipping from San Diego to
you (or local pickup). Best offer takes it.

Note that this is among the first batch of Freerunners that
shipped. So it will not have any hardware fixes that may have been
applied to production after the initial release.

Thanks

Freerunner for sale

2009-11-27 Thread Michel
Hi,

Not enough time and other priorities make that I have to part with my
Openmoko Freerunner.

Datecode: 20080617

The original foil is still on the display.

What you get is the following:

Openmoko GTA02 Freerunner (European model)
1 battery
512 MB MicroSD card
Original headset (not used)
USB cable
Charger with all the setup pieces
Original multi purpose pen (light, laser light etc.)

Plus:

Extra Battery
Special screwdriver

All in the original box with the special green Thank You card :)

The phone was bought from Pulster and the Buzz was successfully and
professionally fixed by www.handheld-linux.com (aka Golden Delicious).

I'd like to sell it for Euro 200,00 plus shipping and only within Europe.

If you would like to make me a serious offer then please mail me directly.

Thank you,

Michel

2 MicroSD cards: 8G and (the original) 512MB

   Enlightenment changeset from raster:

I did that, but those aren't as nice as a nice little screenshot :)

From what I see there is not much that could be shot as illume2 yet...

normal, I also just tried, illume2 is kind of a fork from illume, with code
cleaning and refactorization before going further.

I see a little difference on my desktop btw, the illume2 module is less
intrusive.

Because of the demand: here are some unedited full-size pics of the very

Two pictures feature the small scratch in comparison to a Euro cent. You see,
it's really tiny. Apart from that the device is almost like the first day. I
don't know which revision it is. The date code says 2008530.

Awaiting your bids!

Freerunner for sale! (Germany)

2009-08-08 Thread Joerg Lippmann
Hi!

I'm selling my Freerunner (originally sold by Pulster). I used it for about a
year, so it's not really in mint condition, but it's ok. Everything works, but
there's a small (3mm) but visible scratch in the middle of the display. I got
the buzzfix by golden delicious, so it comes with a second new battery. You get
everything from the original packaging:

Openmoko Freerunner with Buzzfix
Power cable with two adaptors
Laserpen (w/o batteries)
USB-cable
black/green box
Invoice
2 original batteries
512MB uSD-card
Original Invoice and Handbook.

If you are interested, make me a reasonable offer in EURO via mail:

Don't hesitate to write me in case of questions or if you would like photos.

Lightly used FreeRunner for sale

2009-04-15 Thread John Reese
Hi all,

I have an extra FreeRunner, purchased from the first batch of Neos
delivered to the US. It's very lightly used, with a Zagg Invisible
Shield protector on the screen, and comes with an extra (third-party)
battery, original packaging, and all of the goodies that it shipped with.

I'm parting with the FreeRunner because I'm a poor college student who
needs the money for other endeavors. I'm asking for $250 or best offer,
which I feel is a reasonable price for the unit, considering it's in
rather good condition and still has all the accessories.

My specific model has the 900MHz GSM chipset, and is known to work on
the local T-Mobile network without any problems. Willing to either meet
locally (Rochester, NY) and exchange for cash, or ship anywhere via
PayPal payment (buyer pays shipping!).

Although I'm sure you're all aware of what it looks like, a picture of
mine is available at:
   http://files.leetcode.net/uploads/2008/09/cimg2923-modified.jpg

You can contact me off-list at this email address if you're interested.

Cheers all

Freerunner For Sale

2008-11-04 Thread John Koenig
Sadly the time has come for me to say farewell to my Freerunner and I
wanted to give the list first dibs before I list the phone on ebay.

The asking price is $300 (or best offer) + shipping and it includes a
barely used Freerunner, original packaging, and the original accessories
that came with the device. Note that the stylus needs new batteries and
that the touch screen was replaced (after the original cracked) with a
new screen purchased from http://www.qinyielectronics.com.

The device works great and comes pre-flashed with OM 2008.9.

Please send me an email off list if interested.

~ I've enjoyed playing with it but am unable to continue to do do so now.
(Tropical Storm Fay has changed my priorities a bit) I have it in the
original box with all of the original bits except for the sd card
upgrade. It's in perfect shape, the screen is fine, no dings or dents
and I don't know if its my location or what but I never had the buzz or
echo issues so many people had. I'd like to get back what I paid for it.
(I'll pay shipping IN THE U.S., if you are out of the U.S. you'll have
to pay shipping)
~ E-mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]

~ I'd be overjoyed to have someone in Jacksonville, FL come by for a
local pick-up but don't think there are any other Jacksonville people on
these lists.
~ Thanks and hope to hear from someone soon,
~Lisa

FreeRunner for Sale, Newcastle upon Tyne (UK) - any reasonable offer accepted

2008-08-29 Thread Alex Kavanagh
Hi

It's very sad, but I've not had the time to play with the FreeRunner
(GTA02) than I wanted, and it doesn't look like I will soon. I really
wanted to find the time, but I've simply been too busy earning a living.

It's barely used, and currently has OM2008 on the main flash, with FSO
Milestone 2 on the SD card. The uboot is stock.

I've fitted a ZAGG screen protector to it, so the screen should be mint,
and I have the bits if you wish to remove the screen. I also have all
of the original packaging.

I'm in Newcastle upon Tyne (UK) which is in the North East. Will ship
it to anywhere in the UK. My FreeRunner (yours soon?) is looking for
someone who can spend some time with it. I'll be sorry to see it go.

My costs were (from Truebox) were:

£272.60 GBP for the Freerunner (delivery included).

It's yours for a reasonable offer!

I'll be at PyCon 2008 in Birmingham (12th and 13th of Sept, not 14th) if
you want to exchange there.

Cheers
Alex.

FreeRunner For Sale, SF Bay Area, make me an offer

2008-08-26 Thread Vijay Vaidyanathan
Hi ...

I have a barely used FreeRunner (GTA02) for sale. I had hoped to find
the time to play with it, but I'm discovering that may not happen
anytime soon, so it is looking for a friendly new home and a loving
new owner.

I prefer a San Francisco Bay Area exchange, but I can ship if I have to.

It is still running a 2007.2 version with an opkg upgrade and opkg
update version from a few weeks ago.

My cost:

Subtotal : $399.00 USD
Tax : $28.93 USD
Shipping : $14.85 USD
Total : $442.78 USD

Your cost: make me an offer :-)

Pricing? And what about w/o ATT card? I have a phone-free E-Plus (german
 provider) here.

with atat it will probably be the 850 variety -- so only limited use in
germany (eplus uses 1800 _and_ 900, too)
