Hello Dmitry,
Your code says that the value is backed up by sum and negation (line 26,
value := -value). But I don't see any negative values in your sample
If Black is the first player then why is he winning so little? If you are not
using komi then Black should win more often then White. If you are using komi
then the percentages should be more or less even, i.e. 50%-50%. Am I missing
something?
___
=1.0
P(Black wins)=49.6%
Komi=0.5
P(Black wins)=52.4%
Black wins on average by 2 points (without komi). So for these random games a
komi of 2.5 seems reasonable. Can someone also run the same experiments?

Hi Sylvain,
Your code says that the value is backed up by sum and negation (line 26,
value := -value). But I don't see any negative values in your sample tree,
or values greater than one. How do you actually back up values to the
root?
Sorry, it is value := 1-value. Thank you for pointing
Actually this is all I ever wanted! Now if only I could convince the whole
Computer Go community to use it, but that seems unlikely :)

Hello everyone,
Why can't we use proper forums instead of this outdated list? Forums are easier
to keep track of and search for messages. As a start we can use Yahoo groups.
What do you think?
Cheers,

In a forum you can read all the messages at once using your scroll-wheel. You
don't have to click next-message every time. You can also add images and links,
change font type. It would be nice to have a feature where you can easily draw
Go diagrams, just like in sensei wiki.
