Thank you very much, I thought it should be easy to do.
I will try it this evening.

The combo updater will check and fix a version that is the same as the
updates.

Normally you'd simply right click a jpg or pdf and select "Open With",

Hello everyone,
A friend's windows xp pro computer is running very slow from what she
tells me. I'm going to see what programs are running and turn off the
unnecessary ones. Then do scans with ad-aware and spybot SD. I'd love
suggestions on what else to try.
TIA,

It's a pain in the butt to start over, but the process makes me dig into
areas of the system that I tend to forget about. It makes me more
effective when I help others

Here's an interesting note in the "Terms and Conditions" page:

By next month 10.5.1 should be out. It is being developer-tested now.
I have 10.5 and am waiting, but expect to upgrade to 10.5 (then 10.5.1)
by sometime next month. I am also tracking 10.5 issues on MacFixit
while I wait.
Thank you,

That is like saying "its just a photo." More respect for the art and
technology of typography could result in your having fewer silly
typographic problems. You did not even tell us what type of font you were
abusing.

I have a font on my Mac laptop I'd like to transfer to my work PC. Every
attempt to copy it to disc or email it results in an empty file. There has to
be a way to do this; it's just a font. Any help would be appreciated.

Robert,
The link has the specifics right there; two USB 2.0 ports, one Firewire
400 MHz port and one Firewire 800 MHz port. You can use the faster 800
MHz Firewire port to connect an external drive (a little better than a
USB drive, which you can also use). With an external 1 TB drive (or
