Maybe after you tell us what you are talking about we can all laugh. You
might want to go to wikipedia to look up SATA and how it functions. Also
might want to read up on putting OS's on seperate drives, they all don't
have to go on one drive. I'd give you the url for looking up SATA on wiki,
This is an external two drive enclosure, not a tray. Why bother with
eSata? Speed...being able to hot swap if you wanted. As far as
incompatibilities go, I'm on windows so SATA is fine.
You go ahead and hot swap the drive that the OS is running from. I'll
watch and try not to bust a gut
esata is for external enclosures, not trays/bays. The only difference is
With a drive bay priced at $10 and using old reliable IDE why would
anyone get a $150 eSATA and then have to worry about various
incompatibilities? Better to KISS.
You can get a nice NAT box for less than you quote for

doesn't like new fangled things that came out years ago like SATA?

They _do_ have fans.
Our biggest problem has always been the nature of the EIDE bus.

Anyone have experience with brands of swap-able drive bays. Btw,
if you didn't have this find list to solicit opinions, where
on the web/net is a good place to reliable reviews, feedback etc.
