I had one of those from buy.com (which owns woot) and the hold switch was
broken when I got it. The battery life was very poor, too.
I returned it and luckily, they were out, so they issued a refund.
It is possible, as I have demonstrated. What more do you want?
Quieter Metro trains?

A really good set of headphones would probably block out so much of the

I too a look online and Palm Life Drives are going for a bout $100 on Ebay.
Not bad.

I got a new surplus Palm Tungsten C for around that much and I like it
very much.

I had hoped the Sansa would be a viable alternative to an iPod -
it wasn't, very sad.
I have been looking at Sansas and saw someone with a nice one on the

I don't know. They claim 25,000 applications available through their App

your Safari web browser?

No. I'm no longer an audiophile. I'll be listening to MP3s and PodCasts.

Sad. But your options have improved if you no longer value quality.
Has too much interaction with WFBs made me impervious to quality?
It is not necessary to listen to crap when you have the option not to.
I don't think a portable player is about quality. It is about listening
to programming
In high-end audio, as far as headphones, there aren't that many players.
AKG, Beyer, Denon, Grado, Sennheiser, STAX.
That's basically it. I may have missed a few.
Headphones are a most bang for the buck product assuming that

No, but your insistence on categorization has definitely hurt your

If I have to I will.
Verizon is changing the way they price plans and how the devices work
on the plans.
My son wanted a new phone and purchased it off Ebay.
Turns out the new phone will only work with one of their new
plans. (Their rules not mine) So I had to change plans, problem is

This is one of the best reasons for ALL U.S. mobile phone carriers to
switch to GSM. With Verizon and Sprint, if you change to another carrier

What happened? Does the iPod Touch not work as a flash drive on
unauthorized Macs? Does it have to be jailbroken? Can I transfer the
video via WiFi?
The Touch does not come with the ability to mount the drive on a
computer. That's rotten and Apple has not been criticized enough over
this
I have a piece of software called Tune Ranger that allows you to pull tracks
off an iPod. It works well enough and it works on PC and Mac.

This is tricky, Betty! What they told me when I bought my iPod is that
it only syncs to one computer. What that means is, anything in
iTunes on the designated one computer, that is what syncs to the
iPod Touch. I can download blogs to my iPod Touch through iTunes. Also

I had one of Cavan's dance competition videos that I was going to give
him yesterday to put on his iPod Touch. When he attached it to both my
Mac and MacBook it not only didn't appear in iTunes, it didn't appear on
my desktop either. I know that unauthorized iPods don't always appear in
iTunes. I
