I mean't to say the system fan ...I think it's the drive motor on death's
door ...so does seagate!

while waiting for the exchange drive ($20) I should visit a local religious
institution to make sure it doesn't fly apart before the other one gets

in maryland, the warantee sort of starts over. they cannot keep patching to
get you through the two years or whatever.

My seagate barracuda 120gb ST3120026A is in a dell 4400 and there is a ringa

Does the drive really have a fan? That's unusual. Anyway, usually you
can isolate fan noise by ear or by unplugging it. You may not have to
open the case - not to ear-ball the front and rear case fans,
anyway.
