I like to end an evening of contras with a Sicilian circle to waltz music
and then continue directly into the open waltz. That saves time and
everyone gets a partner. Will this dance work?

Hi, Guys -
I want to collect contras where there is no wait-out at the end of the
line. A dance that comes to mind is Three Thirty-Three, because of the
grand R&L up and down the line. Can you name others? and other figures
that make a no wait-out possible?
Thanx,

I would like to do a live Zoom broadcast of an upcoming dance. Can
somebody tell me how you handle issues of privacy and permission? Do you
have to get permission from everyone in the room and if so, how?

First contra for new dancers. Inspired by "Jefferson and Liberty" but
doesn't drift down the hall and everybody learns B&S. Named for the black
squirrels of Wooster.

I would find a danceable tune and modify the dance to fit the tune. Or you
can think of a song or create words for the dancers to say and do the dance
without music. Susan

I am scheduled to provide an outdoor dance at a wedding in Ohio on Sept.
4. The musicians have bowed out, so it would be just me with recorded
music, on formica sheets (!) over a large brick patio. Here are
modifications I am considering:
- mask optional
- dance only with chosen partner, i

As I begin to travel again, I want to leave my dance cards home and access
all my material virtually. I have 2 questions:
1. Which virtual method (or app) do you prefer for accessing your dance
instructions and notes?
2. What is your back-up plan at a dance if you can't get on the internet?

Luke, I get my insurance from Callerlab because, for $28 extra, it also
covers BMI/ASCAP. So far I have taken just one dancer to the E. R., but
that was enough to convince me of the value of insurance.
