w3cam doesn't work in gui mode. In looking for the source to compile it
myself I found that there is a new version out. Any chance it'll be packaged

I was told that support for
dxr3/H+
kde will login using root but not a regular user and bombs out with an error
about dcopserver error. THis is on another machine than I am now using but I
just did an upgrade with cooker mirror using pcmcia.img
