Baking powder does have some salt in it. At least the baking powder that I asked someone to read me directions on. I would say if your dog feels a little too sticky add a little more salt and don’t worry about it. I don’t think the salt is that critical in the recipe. Sent from my iPhone this

Hi, I was looking up an old recipe I got back in high school for granny's sugar cookies. The recipe called for plain flour and baking powder but not salt. I thought most cookie recipes particularly sugar cookies called for salt. Am I misinformed on this? I do not want to mess up my recipe but
