I have just submitted the information to genealogy.ie. I did do the DNA test,
but it only says Ireland and Scotland and was not specific. I have a great
deal of information once my great grandfather, George H. McQuade, came to
America. But, I would like to learn more about where his family

I’m wondering if anyone might have information on the McIntire/McIntyre family
from Dungannon area. My g/grandmother was born in the Dungannon area,
1838-1840. Her name was Mary Jane McIntire/McIntyre and family info - very
sparse and definitely not confirmed - is that she was born

Tyrone and Monaghan are separate counties as you can see on this map -

Looking at American censuses may show which county he came from then you can
ask people for further help. In the meantime
