Hello, Well, what I did, as someone earlier in this email list suggested, is compile courier-imap like so: ./configure --without-authdaemon --with-authvchkpw This solved my problem of having authentication fail randomly, until I restarted the auth daemon. I guess this is a confirmed bug. -alex
