Right now, the authentication library, the authlib subdirectory, is present
in the courier, courier-imap, and sqwebmail source tarballs. It gets
separately compiled by all three

Courier, Courier-IMAP, and SqWebMail will link against this lib.
Is there any reason why maildrop could not use this lib? I have not taken the
